{Self} Love is in the Air with 4 DIYs for You

4 DIY skin care recipes for self love

In honor of Valentine’s Day, I wanted to celebrate self love and share a few simple DIYs to help you create rituals of kindness, little moments throughout the day that can help center you in love, quiet the unkind voices, and remind yourself of your worth.

It’s amazing how little shifts in your thoughts can have such ripple effects. I know I’m a better business owner, mom, wife, friend, daughter, and human when I’m centered in kindness and encouragement!

A non-toxic, all-natural toner like this one gently prepares your skin to soak up serums or moisturizers. This one uses the power of apple cider vinegar, frankincense, and geranium--all three have been used for centuries to help with problems like acne and promote glowing, vibrant, healthy skin.

Affirmation:

I choose to be kind and gentle with myself right now.

Natural + non-toxic facial tonerIngredients:

Water

Apple cider vinegar

5 drops frankincense oil

5 drops geranium oil

Directions:

Fill a glass container ⅔ of the way with water, and ⅓ of the way with apple cider vinegar. Add frankincense and geranium, and shake gently to mix. When you’re ready to use, add a few drops to a reusable facial round (or cotton pad) and gently swipe across your face and neck, and let dry.
